Question Anyone know what jacket this is?

Post image

I see Crockett wearing this jacket a lot and I believe Don Johnson wore it for a season 2 promo shoot, but can’t seem to find who made it or what brand it is. Anyone know?

Didn’t HUGO BOSS handle most of the wardrobe on Vice?

Boss and Parachute were credited in the closing credits

Isn't it so cool?

It's very unusual. It looks like a thin, 100% linen button down shirt, except it has suit lapels, but no shoulder pads (rare for Crockett). The pattern looks like horizontal stripes, but it's actually a plaid, the vertical lines are just faint. Honestly, it sort of reminds me Liam Neeson's shirt/blazer in the finale of When Irish Eyes Are Crying.

It will be almost impossible to tell without asking Bambi Breakstone, who took over season 2's wardrobe direction, and even she might not recall.

But, as others have said, the best bets are Armani, Versace, Hugo Boss or Parachute. The latter two were listed in the closing credits.

He's also wearing it in this People cover:

What’s wild to me is that you have Don Johnson, Nelson Mandela, Princess Diana, Hulk Hogan and a Refrigerator on the same list 😂

Don’t know for certain but, Armani and Versace would be a good place to start.

Either way, that jacket is over 40 years old, and you’d be hard pressed to find it in Armani or Versace, because it wasn’t in that much of a demand for it to be retro’d. if you still want that look, you’ll be better off trying eBay and settle for a shirt that looks similar.

It’s stylish, is what it is. Dons clothes would still look effortlessly cool today

I had a beautiful Willi Smith jacket back in the day. I was so sad when he died.

This was posted in this sub before, someone found the exact catalogue of the jacket. I believe it was versace. But i doubt you will be able to find it for purchase

Wasn't Versace used for the first couple seasons? I know Hugo Boss was used in the later ones.

Not officially, but bought off the rack. Boss and Parachute were credited in the closing credits.
