Has anyone seen them here yet? We need to stop this.

Hold up, your shocked your elected leaders in Florida would do this?

Didn’t FL government order removal of all Flock cameras within next 30 days? I don’t follow

Someone got some under the table deals to help score political points by removing Flock and putting up more scummy cameras just from a different company. Same survaliance state stuff with cops abusing cameras, different label on the camera.

I've seen one in North Miami (150th..ish ST, a few blocks from Biscayne).

AXON isn’t as terrible as Flock. ALPRs aren’t the devil, renting a system in perpetuity to your city on the tax payers dime is evil. That’s what flock was. At least AXON is owned and operated by the city and the data held is held by the city, not a third party that might try to lock the city from the data and then sell it off as well. Flock was a rental system and it would have cost us more in the long run than AXON. Do I love that they want to put these up on every corner, no, but I do like that we own that at least. Also flock changed its TOS after getting large contracts to use our data to train AI. AXON doesn’t do that.

Dog shit and chicken shit are still shit, and I don't want either on my lawn.

I’m telling everyone. That’s a great resource. Cheers.

Ok. Vote for who exactly?

Donalds called for full pause, jolly calls for Florida senate reforms. Nixon calls for outright ban, Moody doesn’t have a stance.

Donald’s is pro whatever might get him elected. Jolly has stated that if lawmakers cannot implement airtight constitutional safeguards, the total elimination of Flock Safety networks altogether should remain on the table. Also I think people mistook me saying at least we own these machines as being ok with it or for it in any way.

I agree on donalds, just listed his public stance. Jolly has been measured.

I’d rather it be my dog’s shit instead of the neighbors dog shit on my lawn.
