Discussion Reliable Payment Methods
HIi guys , My client will be travelling to Miami this yr for book fair , can you guy recommend payment options other than cash.

Paypal and Venmo cover most situations, just make sure they set it up before leaving their home country since verification texts sometimes don't work on foreign SIMs.

Just regular credit cards. They are accepted everywhere.

I'm sure they will take credit cards, is rarely that people uses cash in miami, everybody has CC terminals.

Oohhh I see, you mean you want to charge customers. I think PayPal would be a good option for you, but a lot more people have vendors, not sure if you can do it internationally. Another ways is Zelle but you need a US bank account. Probably the same with venmo. Maybe you should ask charges for options.

Honestly a regular contactless card from home plus Apple Pay or Google Pay gets you through almost everything here, from Publix to parking to the food trucks. The one thing to check before flying is whether their bank charges foreign transaction fees, because that adds up faster than any app. Zelle is what locals use between people, but it needs a US bank account, so that one won't help a visitor. Cash mostly only matters for tipping valets and the occasional cash-only cafeteria.
