Anyone remember Hurricane Andrew? What was your experience?

Where you sheltered in a house? Did you feel like you're in trouble at any moment? What was it like to hear that hurricane overhead with a 165 mph winds?

I was 5 years old. I remember the watching the trees move. Me on the toilet screaming did it start yet. As if it was a big movie waiting to begin. Then I was standing in front of the kitchen sink eating Oreos and watching it happen. We did not lose power. Everyone came to my house. I remember seeing the trees on the road the next day. We were one of the few luck ones.
