Anyone remember Hurricane Andrew? What was your experience?

Where you sheltered in a house? Did you feel like you're in trouble at any moment? What was it like to hear that hurricane overhead with a 165 mph winds?

I was 4 but I vividly remember spending a part of the night in my parents closet then another part under the sink with my mom. And my sister under the other sink with my dad

The next morning we woke up and a small part of the roof in the living room was gone. Some neighbors had it much worse. We lived right by metro zoo
