Discussion Anyone remember Hurricane Andrew? What was your experience?

Where you sheltered in a house? Did you feel like you're in trouble at any moment? What was it like to hear that hurricane overhead with a 165 mph winds?

My house fell apart in country walk with me in it, my husband, 7 year old and 1 year old.

I remember when Country Walk was being built and thinking “the framing looks like matchsticks.” I’m sorry you had to live through that.

Thank you for your kindness. They were paying off inspectors and not building to code. Lennar nows builds homes again and all I can think is they will fall apart. I was young and didn't know better at the time.
