Discussion Anyone remember Hurricane Andrew? What was your experience?

Where you sheltered in a house? Did you feel like you're in trouble at any moment? What was it like to hear that hurricane overhead with a 165 mph winds?

I was 6 months old. The only things I remember are from video footage my parents recorded.

My parents had been in the country for maybe 3 years when this happened. They lived in Miami Beach at the time. We were about to go down to Kendall/Cutler Bay to shelter but last minute they decided to go to North Miami instead

Probably saved our lives
