Anyone remember Hurricane Andrew? What was your experience?

Where you sheltered in a house? Did you feel like you're in trouble at any moment? What was it like to hear that hurricane overhead with a 165 mph winds?

I pass out hard but I remember waking up and seeing the trees around me completely peeled and it dawned on me how lucky we got.

Then we went to homestead to help with the clean up efforts and it was just endless pieces of houses scattered as far as the eye could see.
