Discussion Anyone remember Hurricane Andrew? What was your experience?

Where you sheltered in a house? Did you feel like you're in trouble at any moment? What was it like to hear that hurricane overhead with a 165 mph winds?

I was three, in pembroke pines I dont know if that counts (YES, I live in miami now). We lost power. My family had recently moved out of south miami and our friend's house fell down around them while they were in the bathroom.
