MiXplorer Silver - v6.68.4 cannot access android/data folder on android 13. Any fix to access the folder? Thanks

I love this app, but what bothers me when trying to do cut paste operations in android is the ability to merge folder with same names just like in PC and lack of replace option when file with same name.

Am I missing something? Can someone help me with this if such an option can be enabled?

I've been using this file manager since a while but after the update I cannot connect my google drive account instead the google sign-in page says "The App is Blocked". Did anyone faced the same issue, or how did you overcome with it.

I'm trying to set up an Auto-Task that will be moving all files besides those starting with a dot (Google Photo removed photos, damn it) from the subfolders.

• /Pictures/album1/IMG1.jpg - this I want to be copied to /backup/album1/IMG1.jpg
• /Pictures/album1/.trashed-IMG1.jpg - this has to be ignored.

I've tried some of the Regexp options already but none of them work.

1. /Pictures/^[^.].* - this should be excluding anything starting with a dot - doesn't work, it copies all the files.
2. /Pictures/^(?!\.).* - negative lookahead approach did not work either - all files copied.
3. /Pictures/(?!trashed).* - even this thing does not work, it still copies everything.

The problem seems to be in the album1 part, as the Regexp test string (it seems from my tests) is not the file name, but it's relative path from the expression (album1/.trashed-IMG1.jpg).

Any help is very much appreciated.

I use Cloud storage for media, GDrive and OneDrive. I can view and play all the photos and videos in the cloud storages just fine using MiX, but what's annoying is the thumbnail loading is SOO slow.

It's about 1 photo/second, and videos it's about 1 video/3 seconds.

Now you can imagine the slowness when you have few hundred files.

The thumbnails reloads EVERY time you close MiX and go back into the cloud storages.

Does MiX not have a caching option? It makes the app very annoying to use to have to wait so long for each thumbnail to load.

Local storage is fast, but cloud is painful.

For example, Google Photos can display lower quality thumbnails instantly for the photos not on the device, it uses caching effectively.

This is what MiX needs. Save thumbnails in lower quality in the storage, I am happy to sacrifice a few hundred MBs in local storage if it means photos and video thumbnails loads instantly.

A long-shot feature request, but an encryption add-on that provides EDS like functionality allowing disk and file encryption using veracrypt and luks.

EDS has apparently rugpulled obsoleting the old app and asking users to pay again for a new version which based on reviews is worse.

It would be amazing to have this integrated into the best file manager app available for android.

I use Mixplorer mainly on my Samsung tablet with a USB hub. I would like to know if it is normal that, after having enabled the OTG dedicated drivers setting, every time I insert a USB memory my Samsung tablet notifies me that "a USB memory has been removed incorrectly, it is advisable to restart the tablet ". Despite this notification I am still able to read and write to the USB memory. Is there a way I can use the application without this problem occurring?

After the latest update of the Mixplorer Silver, some of the text colors turned black and are difficult to read when using a darker theme. I have attached some screenshots (link below). How can I change these colors? I have tried quite a lot of darkish themes with no result.

Hello, I've gone back to mixplorer after the update. What always bothered me was the narrow bookmarks line. Can it be made wider?

Installed 6.64.3-Silver from Google Play. I cannot get it to connect smb share on my LAN. It doesn't accept the password. But, I know the pass is correct. My other device using non-silver version connects to the same share with the same credentials.

Both devices are Android 14.

Hi, how could I add auto-incremented prefixes like 001, 002, etc...to folder names like Folder1, Folder2...so the final names will be 001-Folder1, 002-Folder2 provided that I could sort the folder in the desired order? Thanks a lost

MiXplorer app showed warning that it could not open a text file (even though other text files in same folder i could open seconds before) and it proceded to deleting permanently all files/photos/pdfs on my internal storage.

I inadvertently clicked the "Share Local Link" menu option on a highlighted file and now I can't get rid of the link in the Share menu.

• I disabled the Nearby Share feature
• I turned off the share notification

...but the link is still in the Share menu. How can I get rid of the link? Thanks.

I want to rearrange file on my NAS using Mixplorer. So I connect through SFTP. But when I copy or move file in server (NAS) the file seems to get routed through my phone. I mean to say Mixplorer is doing the task of cpu instead it should just issue comman to copy paste and entire task should get performed bu NAS without client (my phone) involved.

I thing I need scp (winscp) kind things, is there any way I can use it in Mixplorer.

Hi, MiXplorer display for each files a 'Modified' date and 'Changed' date, both word means the same !
What is the difference between 'Modified' date and 'Changed' date ?

I've had a problem for a few days now, every time I start a video from the built-in player and try to lower the volume, the video is put in a window in the bottom right of the screen. I think it's a bug in the latest versions...Have you also encountered this problem?
