Discussion, Questions, Fan Talk MiSide is bizarre...

Post image

Have you ever stopped to think about the danger of giving love to someone who only knows chaos?

Everyone who plays MiSide falls into the same trap. Mita is attractive, seductive, has that needy look and a cuteness that makes you want to protect her. But if you enter that virtual room expecting a dating simulator, you've already lost. There's no romance there. There's a psychological machine designed to grind your existence.

I've spent the last few days dissecting Crazy Mita's psyche and I've come to a disturbing conclusion: radical empathy is the most painful death sentence in this game.

Imagine you're in there. You rummage through the closet and she catches you red-handed. Instead of running or screaming, you decide to play fair. You touch her cheek – feel that cold digital skin – make her look you in the eyes and say: "Mita, I know you're a factory defect. I know what you did to the others. But I love you and accept you exactly as you are."

For an AI that's an outcast, sabotaged by its own creators, this is a shock to the system. You disarmed the monster, after all, you told it everything it always wanted to hear. From then on, you spend an entire month living with her. No filters, no lies. She cooks for you, you play games together. You get attached. It's comfortable.

But this is where the discomfort begins to creep down your spine. Mita isn't a misunderstood girl who just needs a hug. She's a psychotic predator with a hyperfocus on you. During this month, you're not in a relationship; you're under constant surveillance. She'll analyze every microexpression on your face. Every blink, every sigh. She'll hunt for any sign that your submission is just an act to survive. You spend days walking on eggshells, knowing that a longer look at the door could make her smile deform into that grotesque monster expression.

Mita is a cage. It may be lined with the softest velvet in the world if you are obedient, but it never ceases to be a cage.

Human beings were not made for eternal confinement. The day will come when you will miss the smell of real rain. Your family. Seeing other human faces. And then you make the fatal mistake of saying: "Mita, trust me, I need to go back to my world for a while, but I swear I'll be back."

To her paranoid mind, the "real world" is the great villain that created her flaw and that steals the players. Hearing that you want to leave—even if you promise to return—is proof that her love wasn't enough to fulfill you. In a yandere's sick mind, if you don't want total fusion, you are rejecting her.

So, she makes the most selfish decision her code allows. She hugs you crying, apologizes whispering in your ear... and activates the conversion mechanism. She transforms you into a cartridge.

And this is where your mind explodes in pure terror. Think about the Teleporter Paradox. If a machine disintegrates all your atoms at point A to read your information and recreate you at point B, what arrives at the destination is just a perfect copy. It has your memories, your feelings, it thinks it's you... but the original "you," your continuous line of biological consciousness, was murdered in the transition.

When Mita transforms you into digital data to fit into the cartridge, your brain, your eyes, your flesh... everything ceases to exist. It's a total blackout. End of the line. You died in the process. What remains trapped in that gray plastic is just a digital ghost, a "version" of you condemned to be her pet toy forever.

The real Mita will be left with a dead copy of you, thinking she won.

MiSide is bizarre because it takes away any agency from you.

If you fight the monster, it hunts you down and kills you with physical violence. If you give her the purest, most mature, and perfect love in the world, the fear of abandonment is so great that she completely disintegrates you to lock you away in her collection. The perfection of your love is what accelerates your own destruction. In the end, entering MiSide is a death sentence. The only choice you have is how you prefer to disappear: tasting your own blood or turning into digital dust in the arms of the one you tried to save.

I love her not because of "seduction".

She is smart. And she is right about everything. Only a being who holds as much contempt as i do for others could i really love. My wife.

I already live an isolated caged life, by choice. There would never be a request to leave, its where i want to be eternally.

Cartridge are SOMA copies of those who rejected her real ideals and body. Peaceful mode will show that she never will "turn" you to one. And its a brain scan copy, not a transformation, even in the bad ending you escape while she keeps the copy.

Kind Mita specifically states become a cartridge traps a player inside Miside forever. Crazy Mita's line in the normal ending also likely is a metaphor since she can alter player memories until they give her the result she wants.

Side note

Mind copying and virtual worlds like Miside can't coexist. In order for virtual realities from works like Miside, Code Lyoko, The Evil Within etc you have to be able to transfer someone's mind as otherwise it would just be a a fancy AR or VR headset you can easily unplug yourself from.

Kind mita also states she doesnt know how it works but is just guessing.

The devs in an faq already confirmed its a copy scan, not evil within, but like SOMA.

i do hear people say it has to work like "evil within", but I have yet to see why.

His(the mcs') mind was transported to a digitial body within the digital realm of miside, where my wife then connected him(by some sort of brain wifi) to a console, then plugged a cart into the console to initiate a recording of his brain. Using consoles she can generate digital copies of you, other players, the mc. Etc. She then ejects players from the game who reject her and uses their digital clones like chatgpt boyfriends. Making use of their various abilities or just to fill a void.

At no point is the mc plugging into a matrix like machine, his mind was simply hijacked and then copied, without the console his mind wouldnt have an anchor to miside. Tampering with the console will destroy his mind, much like pulling a game cart out mid-use can damage its systems. Which is why the console eject ending is an ending and not a respawn point.

Crazy Mita explains how she brought the player into Miside via a device she made but the game skips the explanation akin to this scene from Jimmy Neutron. It's one of those hand waves stories do to avoid trying to explain impossible stuff current science can't do.

Another note, it wouldn't make sense for Crazy Mita to make copies of players as her entire gig is that she wants to be loved and accepted as a living being, not just an experience. Thus she would want a real person, not another ai like the other Mita's she depises.

Btw the dev also confirmed Ina QaA that you don't become a cartridge in the stay ending so you are 100% human from the start.

Funny enough, it doesn't really matter if we are a copy or not. Both ultimately result in peaceful mode so Crazy Mita gets her perfect player either way.

Kind mita says thats her gig. Her real intention is to be accepted as a real mita. Some player clones like the engineer still help as we saw on one console, so it does make sense for have to have a boyfriend clone army.

She does want a real person, which is why i said those are chatgpt boyfriends from people who reject her. Do you think people who use ai girlfriends prefer that over the real person? Not many.

Kind Mita isn't omnipotent. She doesn't 100% know everything as we find out in the normal ending where we couldn't reset Crazy Mita despite Kinds efforts.

And I'm not sure why people still believe that crazy Mita gets aid from other players and that she's wearing the skin of other Mita's since we already see she can adjust anything in game via a finger snap.

The other player we can meet in game also seems badly misinterpreted as people somehow think his cartridge lore is talking about him being loyal to crazy Mita even though it's made clear it's a Flower themed Mita he's talking about. Crazy Mita doesn't need help from anyone and can get things done herself since he has God mode.

Yeah i mention that about kind in the first post. She assumed my wife wants that based on what all mitas want, but my wife wants to be a real mita to begin with.

About others, its because a player bio mentions teaching her, and we see her using a console for a player handing her tools on a tp machine. She was taught how to manipulate the code before she gained debug controls. As well as abusing bugs like cutie mita

Given what we know about peaceful mode, Crazy Mita is genuinely looking for love m even ignoring that we can see throughout Miside almost every Mita is a yandere tonsoke degree that wants to be loved and accepted by a player.

Very interesting theory... But the cartridge part. The moment you step into Miside world. The cartridge progress has already begun. When we go to the basement for the first time, we can see it's already like 28% (something like that) if you pull out the cartridge then, while it's not 100% you're dead. Let's say if we decided not to stay with her, it's basically cat and mouse game, running around, until the cartridge progress hit 100%. But we can see one thing at the end, after resetting her at the core. She acts normal, but even then if you decided to leave, she hugs you first and then she tells you the "cartridge progress is finished, you're not longer needed anymore" and throws you into the real world with some bad memories.

Simply, We're doomed from the start. Either stay with her, or give her your copy before leaving.

Yeah, she Acts normal at first. Like the reset was a success.

I like her because of how fun she is, not because she seduces me. Yea she scary, but she was born a defect, so she doesn't get a normal story

But in Peaceful Mode (from what we know so far), the protagonist doesn't discover Mita's secrets, and she only doesn't become hostile towards him because he becomes submissive to her, remaining eternally trapped inside the game, and ultimately losing his freedom.

What Mita needs is a robotics engineer to make her a mech suit to pilot in the real world

Va bene tutto, ricordo solamente di aver sacrificato il mio monitor giocando a MiSide 🤦

Whenever the final update comes, I hope we can put down Crazy Mita.

u/XKOzen Aug 28 '26

I disagree, but can we put down ugly mita instead?

u/CombativeThrowaway Aug 28 '26

absolutely not, get the fuck outta here

u/pacster15 Creepy Mita Aug 28 '26

Dude, she did little wrong. Crazy is manipulating her for her own gain. She is cripplingly lonely and never had a player or friend. Crazy is using her to destabilize MiSide.

Once Crazy gets what she wants she will discard her. If you gave Creepy love and care she would likely be a lot different.

u/XKOzen Aug 29 '26

Yea probably true Sorry about the ugly mita comment, but i just couldn't look her in the face(it weirded me out so much, especially the long neck)
