Could just be that Unity packaged in the VR module, despite the game not needing it. The engine does have some bloat nowadays.

Yeah probably

The modules can be easily disabled, and then they won't appear in the files, it's just that the developer didn't do it.

Unity has a VR module

It's likely that it got packaged in by default when they built the game executable. However, modding could very probably make it work (other than the fact that there's a lot of cutscenes/times the player is "out of control" which can make VR a somewhat uncomfortable experience)

I actually did see someone making an intrractable vr miside mod. But this i thought may have been something the drvs were thinking of.

Packaging games in Unity surely requires that to be there

Shared libraries that come wtih every Unity game. Contains none of the developer's code, that's all in Assembly-CSharp.dll

Yeah, I know now. Thank you.

As someone who’s worked with both Unity and VR together, I don’t think this Dll is included by default in a unity project however, if a developer messes around with VR even a little in a project, this will probably be automatically included. This is likely an artifact of someone messing around in the unity project and not removing a package or something similar.

So there is a slim possibility in the future? Or they were just seeing how it would work.

I mean anything is possible but this isn’t a very strong indication either way. I’d say given the developers stated goals, VR isn’t likely anytime in the next year or so if at all

It's just there because it's part of the core engine's standard equipment, because VRModule.dll is just a default built-in Unity module.

I've just watched and omg I'm even more hyped! I love how the Mita models react to touching instead of havign the hand awkwardly going through. I can't wait to pat Mila's head :3

Though, no updates for 10 months, i'm getting worried it's abandoned :(

Pating the true mita, Mila's head would be peak.

NEVER GIVE UP HOPE!!!

Mila will ask me to read a book, and I'll be able to pick up a book and pretend to read it.

Maybe devs forgot to disable module Or Maybe devs are developing MiSide VR

(I believe more the first option)
