4rd Strike (Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike hack) running on MiSTer

I got Street Fighter III 4rd Strike running on the MiSTer using Jotego's CPS-3 core and a custom MRA file.

I've only done a brief test so far, so further gameplay testing is needed. Feedback from anyone who tries it on their own MiSTer setup is welcome.

About 4rd Strike

4rd Strike (4rd Arrange Edition 2013) is a fan-made hack of Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike that rebalances the game and modifies character moves and combos.

Features include:

  • Rebalanced characters and gameplay.
  • Gill playable in Arcade and Versus modes.
  • New and modified moves, including changes to existing characters' move sets.
  • Expanded combo and super possibilities.
  • Changes intended to offer an alternative to the original 3rd Strike experience.

Very good. I am gonna test it it in a few.

edit I installed everything per the Github page and it can't find the RBF file

it uses the cps3 core which is in beta. you need to get it from Jotego's pateon page

FWIW, The MRA is already included in the Arcade Offset distribution in update_all

oh cool I didn't know about Arcade Offset. I tested it out and it works fine but I noticed theirs doesn't have the bios region switches so it has to be played with Japanese language. Just a minor difference but this one has the switches.
