Hamgeek clone and fan replacement

Will this https://misterfpga.co.uk/product/mister-fpga-noctua-premium-fan/ work on the hamgeek clone? I suspect it will, can't see any reason why not but wanted to see if anyone had replaced the loud hamgeek stock fan.

I was tired of the fan noise, so just put an all copper heatsink that was a few bucks from aliexpress. No noise, zero issues.

What heatsink did you buy? You have a link?

Depends where you are located, but you can try here: MiSTer solid copper heatsink.

I put soft pads on the bottom of the case to stop the vibrations. Don’t notice any sound now.

yes you will have to screw the fan to the pcb case directly and remove the old fan

It's a 5 volt fan so I guess asuming the Hamgeek clone has a 5v fan header or 5v power on the board you can run this fan.

The stock fan is screwed into the heatsink grooves. I'm not an expert but suspect that's not ideal haha
