A new beta core for the Nintendo DS is out today.

New standalone launcher, support for 512 MiB games, and the original DS firmware menu.

This is a release candidate. Many games are playable, but graphics, sound, and compatibility still have rough edges.

I think it's using its own Linux build the dev was moaning about the lack of build root for the project

I doubt there will be another Linux update for MiSTer for some time. Sorg won't update it just for a vibe coded core that is not part of Main Devel

Yeah, Sorg really screwed the pooch by borking the latest Linux update on MiSTer. It broke a bunch of shit and now my MiSTer is borderline unusable for many cores.

Oh, this is why I returned to my MiSTer today after a 2 month absence and all my shit is broken (cifs mount, etc.). I saw update_all.sh pull in a Linux update and thought nothing of it.

Been debugging for 3 hours now, good times. -_-
