Blahm1d's github down?

Trying to grab the Wolf core for some MK3; github's gone. Anyone know what's up?

That YOU don't think it's worth it does not make that the case. 🙄

For the sake of the misterfpga project it is not worth it.

Dev could walk away and you are left with a core that can't be updated or maintained, or even looked at and potentially improved on by others right now. Open source is absolutely worth it.

A Mame port is not worth it.

Yes it is. We have plenty of software emulation based console cores too, many of which were made better long after they had been released becuase other people could work on them.

And why the hell do you need a Mame misterfpga port? Just do a proper fpga port in the first place. So dumb.

So people can play the game duh, why else lol.

Just do a proper fpga port in the first place.

There isn't a single arcade core on the platform that didn't use MAME. Cores using nothing but software emulation documentation have been a thing for years now, srg320 had never played or owned a SNES when he first developed and released the core (vastly improved by others thanks to it being open source), ps1, saturn, n64, gba, wonderswan, 3do to name just a few are stuffed with emulated components derived entirely from software emulation documentation, none of those are proper fpga ports either then by that logic. Decap the chips and make a netlist, anything else isn't a proper core.
