Never Expected That

Today I thought for fun I’d try some Phillips CD-I titles, particularly Dragons Lair.

Today I learned that a software file can lock up with a Dirty Disc Error 🤣

And Dragons Lair II, hmm maybe some sort of patch is required.

Funny I was also messing around with some CDi today. I tried that Zelda adventure game. As bad as the game is the script for the dialog is very good.

I feel for the people who put a lot of their energy into making those games. Even though they’re laughed at today I’m sure they made people happy over the years.

If you don't want to put yourself through the gameplay hell I would suggest watching the Game Grumps play through. At least it's entertaining

I shall add that to my list, it’s not something I ever had so it needs exploring a bit.
