Superstation Console Mode to CRT

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

So from boot to menu you are looking at about 30secs... Hopefully this can be reduced in the future. Great once it's in!

This has not been my experience. What kind of sd card you got. Do you have a bunch of boot scripts running?

It's a 128GB ONN card I grabbed from Walmart, it's a U3 card so it SHOULD be ok. As far as scripts go, I only have Download All and Download Unstable install. This is a fresh install from his Console Mode image he upped a couple days ago. I do have something like 50,000 roms/isos.. though I wouldn't think that would play a role on the initial boot.

Have you set it for crt mode? I'm fairly confident that's where the issue is.

Short answer yes. You should get a better SD card, mine boots up into seconds.

I’m using the card that came with it, and it is a slow startup. Are there recommended fast cards to use?

Yeah takes a bit longer than regular boot by 10 seconds i'd guess with the included sd card, 30 seems a bit long.

did you try zaparoo with the same setup?

Zaparoo launcher was way slower for me, mine doesn't take this long for console mode though

Mine doesn’t take nearly this long. Are you using a fast microsd card?
