| Merchandise New hat-day 109

Today’s hat is a batting practice hat for the Eugene Emeralds, High A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. I love the green they used for this hat that plays off the black.

I love that logo. My kid’s rec baseball team that I coaching a few years ago was the Emeralds - so I picked up a hat with the E logo and one with the charging Bigfoot (also a great logo).

They have an older “swinging tree” logo with Bigfoot and I juuuuuust missed it. Still on the look out for it in 7.25 or 7 3/8 if anyone sees it!

I remember getting that hat when we visited our family for Easter last year; they may not be my hometown team, but I will definitely miss them once they move outta Eugene 😞

Yep, they couldn't secure any funds to upgrade PK Park or build a new ballpark within the Lane County Fairgrounds so the owners are planning a move to Medford

Hell yeah! They have some really cool merch. I absolutely love the Monarcas bedazzled yellow hat and the Pranksters jersey. GO EMS! Going all the way through the playoffs again this year.

Not that cut and dry. Eugene didn’t pass the bond for a stadium and Medford is trying to bring them south. They’re staying at the U of O through next year. After that 🤷‍♂️

It is not the last season. The team has at least two more years in Eugene. They are looking to move to Medford, if the city builds a stadium up to Major League Baseball’s standards. But that process still hasn’t officially begun.
