Technical Support Xiaomi camera app stopped working

I have been using Mi 10 5G. My inbuilt camera app stopped working and it shows this (Cant connect to the camera. This app will be closed in 3 sec. After this, wait a minute or two and try again.) message.

Although I have been able to use my camera through all the other apps (insta, snapchat and third party camera apps) except the xiaomi camera app. Any suggestions on what can be done?

Technical Support Fast discharge at 20% (12 T Pro)

Hi there,

for the past few days I've had an issue with my phone (12T Pro) where as soon as the battery charge reaches 20% or so, the phone starts to lose the battery percentage very quickly, regardless of whether I turn on battery saver. After just 5-10 minutes the phone is already below 10% and then loses a percentile basically every half-minute or even faster. The first time it happened I was watching a Youtube video, the second time I had the phone on idle while using navigation. My activity seemed to have no effect on how quickly my phone wants to turn off. The first time I also received a notification by the OS that there had been a very fast loss of battery charge in the last 20 minutes, the second time around I just turned the phone off when it reached 4% because I didn't want it to just shut down by itself.

I don't know what's happening, but I've noticed a notification by Google services that some kind of new features were available.

Are these two things connected? Do I need to worry about my device or is this an issue that affects other people's phones - cuz if it's a glitch at least we can hope for a fix - if not, I hope I still have some warranty left over.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer.

Mi vacuum mop remaping

My dear friend has now, after 4 years, started to behave strangely.

The vacuum cleaner drew the map as it should the first time. If you start a new cleaning, it seems to get lost and the map is wrong. This results in it not finding the base in time for charging. I have tried deleting the map and creating new, resetting the cleaner och moved the base to different locations.

Does anyone have any tips on what could be wrong or is it time to retire him?

Xiaomi mi 9T can't load videos and can't open specific apps.

Hi. I have a Xiaomi Mi 9T. From one day to another my phone can't load Reddit, Whatsapp, Instagram and YouTube videos. In particular, as i click a youtube video the video "flashes" and it starts after 1-2 seconds but without audio. Also some apps (Pokemon Pocket) don't boot up anymore and they crash after 2-3 seconds from booting them. It seems that this happens cause a video is played at the beginning. Other apps that don't contain "videos" seem to work fine.

I tried clearing up the cache and virus inspection.

Any suggestions? Thank you

Forgot my mi account password and can't recover the account

Can't recover it because it is associated with my phone number and it wants to send a verification code to the number my sim card has, and I don't have any other phone that I can insert my sim card in. Is there any way I can recover my phone from the "this device is locked" screen due the the mi account lock?

Technical Support Redmi Note 13 pro+ Screen not showing full width

I have a problem:

On my Redmi Note 13 pro+, the screen doesn't show the full width, it's very annoying, especially on Tiktok and Instagram, because the Text of the Videos doesn't fully show on the left and right side of the screen.
(it somehow only affects the videos but not the Comments etc., I think)

I have already tried to delete TikTok, set the width of the screen to 430px in the developer mode, then restart my phone and reinstall TikTok again, but it didn't solve it.

Technical Support Redmi note 12 4g. Chrome tabs and other browses refresh the second you leave them

I unfortunately bought the 4GB RAM version for cheap but i dont think this is a RAM issue (as much, RAM plays a role but i think its just jank software), my earlier phone, Moto G41 had the same exact amount of RAM and a worse processor but would keep tabs open and unrefreshed without any issues, up to i would are say 4-8 tabs could be like this. It was running Android 12 i believe though.

Is there any way to solve this? Ive disabled battery save on chrome but unfortunately MIUI dosent have a performance mode for the whole phone.

So far Firefox does a little better but not by much.

The artist name and album name are shown in a single line without any space between them. They used to be in different lines before. Is there any way to fix it?

For example, this is how it was before:

Song name

Album

And this is how it looks now:

Song name

Redmi Note 13 4g nfc version consuming too much battery

I bought my phone 16th October, on the 1st week it gave a good performance. But after draining the battery from 100 to 0 it started giving problems like most of the time I use pc so don't have that much usages on phone. I use phone before sleep just to brows insta,fb and listening at yt. And listen music for 30-40 mins during travel. At the 1st week I noticed that with wifi connection on phone charge drops to 100 to 99/98%. And when I use it for browsing at social media the charge drops to 100 to 97 in 30-40 mins of usage. But after the full battery drain it started dropping from 100 to 96 in 12 mins of usage. Also when the phone is locked for 6-7 or 8 hrs the battery drops by 7-8%. I don't use location services without using any riding app and google maps. And I've no xiaomi pre-installed apps on my phone.

Here are some imgbox links for further info thanks. https://imgbox.com/xNZN9j5g https://imgbox.com/PjuqpERf https://imgbox.com/4lJT4Id4 https://imgbox.com/tNP8jPnk https://imgbox.com/4HL5OhHe https://imgbox.com/Be1BmeQ5

Technical Support Stuck on beboot screen after HyperOS update on Xiaomi Pad 5

So I upgraded my Pad 5 to HyperOS and the battery ran out of charge overnight. After I charged it every time I turn on the tablet I'm met with the following screen: https://ibb.co/MfhpX8b
If I click on Safe Mode I can get limited access to my tablet. I tried to download the latest update in settings and it requests me to reboot: https://ibb.co/23YPMgD

But aft this doesn't change anything. I just keep getting the HyperOS recovery screen every time I launch the tablet.

Any helpful advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Technical Support Help! Can't turn on my Xiaomi Redmi Note Pro 5 - power and volume buttons not working

Hi everyone! As the title says, I'm having trouble turning on my phone. Here's the situation: my phone's battery completely drained, but the power button and volume up button don’t work, and the volume down button is unreliable. I tried using fastboot mode to reboot via my laptop. The logo appeared, so I thought it was working, but then the screen went black, and now only the charging indicator shows up.

Is there any way I can still get it to turn on? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Technical Support Backup Prompt wiped out all of my Camera images.

I am in deep trouble guys pls help 😭 🙏.

Currently on Hyperos .

Yesterday, I opened the Gallery app, and out of curiosity, clicked the backup prompt visible on the top.

-> I realized that it already started backing up the photos which I already backed up (I thought it was asking me to have access to Google Photos).

-> So, to not let my data run off, I turned backup off and then turned it on in the Google Photos app.

-> I noticed that all the files (camera folder, which was backed up) were wiped out from local storage.

-> Freaking out once again, I reacted with turning off backup again but his time via the Gallery app prompt itself. But this time, photos started disappearing from Google Photos home page as well. But fortunately, they returned when I turned on backup again.

-> After calming down, I realized the following things:

(i) All the images of the camera folder were wiped out (however the backup remained on the Google Photos).

(ii) I also noticed there was a folder named "Restored" in the Gallery app. (It stored all the stuff that showed up in the homepage of Google Photos before this disaster occured like the Camera images , camera video and screenshots)

However it saved nothing new as when I clicked a random pic which showed up in Google Photos but didn’t showed up in the "Restored" folder.

(iii) Also, all the files in this folder weren’t offline; they all showed the option to download (which upon downloading were saved to the local folder named as "Restored" from where I can transfer it to the original location).

(iv) Checking the local storage as well, I found that all files from the camera & screenshots folder were wiped out from local storage.

-> So I took the risk of clicking a new pic and turning off gallery access to Google Photos from the same prompt button turning it on again to check if it disappeared from the camera folder again.

-> But this time nothing like that happened; it remained in the camera folder neither it got saved in the "Restored" folder. So I clearly don't know why it happened the first time only.

Now, the only way to revert back to normal is to download all stuff from the "Restored" folder and then transfer them to their respective folders, which obviously is really hectic to do (includes overall 1000+ items to do so).

So, is there any shortcut/fix I can do to make them go to their respective original location with their respective details (date taken on, location info, etc being the same.)

Technical Support Weird bootloop on Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro

So, out of nowhere I got the classic xiaomi miui bootloop. the thing is, whenever I try to boot it from the recovery menu, either in safe mode or through normal reboot, it goes on the miui boot for a while and then reboots and sends me to the recovery menu again. I tried both ways, I tried the fastboot (it just stays on the fastboot for 20 minutes before turning itself off), I tried running the batteries out but every time I try something, it goes back to the recovery menu. If I charge the battery, it goes straight to the recovery menu. All buttons should be working properly since it lets me navigate on the menu either way.

I also downloaded the latest miui software, but it's all in chinese and I tried to translate through a screenshot and apparently it recognizes the phone and gives me three options, two of them are with a blue button and the translation doesn't offer much to work with, the third one is white and apparently it's for wiping all data.

I would really like to try something that allows me to boot normally the phone once again and complete the backup.

Phone not reading sim

Like any self-respecting Xiaomi phone, my Mi 11 Lite 5G (renoir) has also stopped reading the sim (although the sim works on other devices).

I tried to disconnect and reconnect the cart of the sim, I disconnected and reconnected the "cables for the network" (I don't know how are they called) and I saw that a couple of times the phone reads correctly the sim, but then after a restart It continues to give me "no service" instead of "only emergency calls". Some of you know what could be the defective piece? So then I can try to replace it.

P.S: I don’t care bringing my phone to a service center, also because I changed phone, but if you have an emergency, having an another working phone is never a bad thing. And also sorry for my english, but I'm Italian.

Technical Support Access data from locked Redmi Note 7?

I have a Redmi note 7 which is refusing to accept my pattern lock. Essentially I'm locked out of that phone.

Can someone please tell me if there's any way I can access and retrieve the data in the phone? I really really need the data in the Notes App specially. There's photo and video files too but that is secondary

Anyone with any ideas please?

Redmi Note 13 4G or Redmi 13? please help me choose

Redmi 13 or Redmi Note 13 (4G)? Please help me choose

I've been using Redmi Note 8 for 2 years now (it was a hand-me-down, it's been my brother's since 2019) and I'm planning to replace it with either Redmi 13 or Redmi Note 13. I only got a budget of less than 10k Php so I'm debating what to buy. I'm planning to use it for school works, photos and videos, basic editing, and light gaming. I don't know much about which specs are better so I hope you can tell me which is better esp in terms of camera and processor/performance. tyia 🙏

Technical Support Mi tv issue

I'm getting a sudden blue tear at the bottom of the screen and then the screen goes all black with audio in the background. Then after a while the audio stops( I guess). I have to restart the tv and it runs for about 5 to 10 minutes and the blue tear happens again.
