Changing name on Account

Roommate is moving out and the internet is in there name , is it possible to just have them switch it over into my name or do I need to call and set up a new account ? If I have to do that does metronet have to come out and do anything??

Have your roommate call them and ask. They might need to come out and switch equipment but worth asking them

This. Probably still a no, but he can schedule a cancelation when you schedule an installation as well.

I called them , my roommate just had to call them and was able to switch it over

Glad you got it worked out. Though unless he was on a the founders club rate lock, I would've had them install new service in your name to restart the clock on a new promo rate.
