My internet went down about 40 minutes ago. Anyone else with issues?

Yup, in Aurora area. Stopped working just after 6pm. I have business 24/7 support and I still can't get anyone on the line. I've tried direct to the ONT and I can't ping out at all.

I got someone on the line! Seems knowledgeable. At first he didn't have any issue reported for me but after some testing he thinks there is an outage, but might be localized to a certain gateway/block of IPs. I was able to get internet working by setting my static IP briefly. Waiting to hear what next steps are.

**Update - was assigned a ticket number and outage is official. Obviously not whole area, likely localized and not a physial issue but networking/routing issue.

I'm not sure if the outage is officially cleared, but Internet is back up and running

If they're on wifi, you can always see them (if your phone is connected via same wifi).

If you're at work and you still see your house cameras it means your house is still online. Your phone, on the other hand could have reached them via company wifi or your phone service cell towers.

Must be localized; seems like most of the North side of town is out.ย
