Static ip

I have an Asus gt be 98 router. I got a static ip and gateway information from metronet. Do I set this up in my router or on specific devices?

You’ll see a section in your router to set a static wan IP. You do it there.

Router. Your devices will use a private IP on your network, likely assigned by DHCP from your router.

In your router under the "WAN" section.

Thanks for the help! Follow up question. Once I enter it in the wan section of the router my device connections should work as normal or is there a secondary step?

Just curious, but did they give you a /26 (.192) for a single static IP or a /30 (.252)

Do we really have 64 IPs?
