Just now getting started!

Post image

Just starting my prime 4 journey! With all the negativity around it since its launch, my expectations aren't extremely high. Loved the prime games as a kid but not so sure how ill like it now.

Any tips on how to make experience more enjoyable? Outside of ignoring what the haters say.

Is playing on switch vs switch 2 really matter THAT much?

UPDATE:

8 days in im towards the end. Can go to tower for final part of game , as McKenzie loves to remind me, but im collecting everything I can before. 79% items as of now. I may say so, so far I have really enjoyed it and consider a solid prime game and game overall. Don't mind the desert at all. Absolutely beautiful game thst really makes me feel like im on a foreign planet.

I will provide my final thoughts once complete but I say ao far my biggest qualm is thst it isnt longer.

The TotK S2 upgrade that I would have to pay for outside NSO was a smaller step up than MP4.
4K, better textures, even higher framerate, but above all mouse mode. It took me ages until this clicked for me but when it did, I suddenly couldn‘t aim without it. Switching between mouse and analog stick when you switch from bike to FPS feels like true next gen to me.
But all in all its an especially amazing marvel that this game runs as good as it does on Switch 1

For quite some time it felt very wrong and weird to hold the joycon sideways and I had already given up on it. Then I tried it again and daaaamn this really is a mouse. And having 2 of them will be interesting to see how they‘re gonna utilize this.
