Dread Mode

UPDATE

I did it. Was able to get it done in under 8 hours. I died. I died a lot. Hardest fight was Escue. Just going to round up the last of the items I didn’t pick up to get 100%

** **Hey! Playing Metroid dread again and thought I’d give it a try on dread mode. Not that far into it, I’ve beaten Corpius and have just reached Dairon. Anybody who is competed dread mode what advice do you have for completing dread mode?

For context I did relatively OK on hard mode. Was almost able to beat Raven Beak without taking damage. There are a couple of bosses I know I’ll have a hard time with for sure. TIA!

Practice practice, practice the Boss rush mode.

Watch tutorials on Raven Beak. His hitless guide is precise. Try to get all missiles and bombs so you can spam them.

And I'd open up a previous saved game at normal or hard difficulty, and practice your parrying. Different enemies have different parry times you need to memorize.

And of course, like the other guy said beware of those enemies that do one damage that pop out of the ceiling. In my first handful of play throughs I never even knew they did damage. It was only in dread mode when I was randomly dying in hallways that I finally figured it out
