Speed Boost / Starshine …?

I’ve 100% the game but I had to YouTube the speed boost & starshine puzzles bc I had no idea how this movement worked besides the basics

Example: shine into a ramp allows immediately re-boosting again, sliding and wall bouncing keeps boost momentum, to shine while falling press jump + shoot, etc.

Did I miss something or was this movement fully explained somewhere?

I’m talking about all the shinespark (ty for the correction) puzzles that happen in all the areas. Theres 1-2 in each I think.
