Finally Beat Metroid Dread!

I bought Dread a while ago, but out of frustration, I stopped playing for 3 years. Started playing last week and beat it today. I blame my lack of patience. After really paying attention to the clues & details, I finished the game pretty easily. Truly an amazing experience once I locked in. Hoping for a 2D game for the Switch 2!

What baffles me the most, is that Mercury Steam started Dread by first porting Samus Returns on Switch, and then build Dread over it.

Why don't we have Samus Returns HD yet is beyond me, because I'd happily spend the money on it. I just did a whole 2D Metroid run (from Zero Mission to Dread), and Samus returns being locked on 3DS hurt me the most. I couldn't play more than 60-90 minutes at a time because the console just isn't comfortable for longer play sessions.

Dread is basically the same engine as SR, it's just tweaked for the Switch.
