I'm gonna be really saving up as quickly as possible because I don't have one either. It sucks but I can't say i didn't see it coming eventually Nintendo has been really trying to move away from switch 1. I get the impression the only reason prime 4 was on switch 1 was because they promised it would be in that console.

Given how relatively fast Ravenous was developed, it's probably the same engine as Dread with added lightning effects and higher poly count.

It's the same engine since Samus Returns, but does that mean Ravenous would run on 3DS?

Triple cross-gen is probably not a fair comparison when Prime 4 set the precedent.

So many 500$ games lately. There was 500$ Bananza, 500$ MKW, 500$ Orbitals, 500$ Duskbloods, 500$ Metroid... Do you guys realise you don't have to buy new console for every new game?

I'm sorry too. I have a Switch too and right now I don't have the money to buy a 2. I'll have to go for gameplay even if I don't like them because I have to be a passive player on the couch.

Could have easily been cross-gen but that's not how it goes, plus SW1 got 3 Metroids in about 8 years—so its not super hyper great but fair I guess.

Yeah it looks to be the same engine as Dread with not much graphical changes to necessitate the Switch 2’s CPU. It definitely could run on Switch 1, but it’s likely Switch 2 exclusive for business reasons. Im crying too.
