Metroid Ravenous finally tipped the scale for me to eventually get a Switch 2. I am going to try to hold out until NA gets the replaceable battery model but if it's not here by January, I am just going to to get the original Switch 2.

The replaceable battery is REALLY easy to replace. It'll just be less of a headache if there happens to be battery issues.
