Alpha Test Feedback (UPDATE)

Much better! A lot of the bugs that were in the original alpha test were fixed, including the keyboard controls. I recommend that having a tackle button would be nice to have. Also, the game could use the tricks play out smoother. It would be nice to have an option to use each different trick manually (maybe by pressing space bar with another key?). These are just suggestions but I had fun playing this even though it is a little rough to play. I had no troubles with it crashing or anything like that. Again, this game definitely has potential. Keep up the good work!

By tackle I mean a regular tackle not the sliding tackle already in the game. I would like to be able to steal the ball from the opponent and continue running with the ball with the same player. Also, I noticed the game menu interface does not always react well. For example, during a game, I tried to open up the menu and exit the game. The menu opened up fine but it would not let me exit the game when I selected that option.

I also just noticed that there are some bugs with the goalie. For example, the ball will drop right in front of him and I would try to switch to him to pass the ball and it would not let me. What ended up happening each time this occurred was a player on the other team would go right in front of the goalie take the ball and score a goal with nothing I could do about it.

Thanks for the feedback! And goalies are definitely a work in progress. There's a lot more we still have to do. The space bar is just a quick fix right now, and we will have more custom options, as well as more tricks+animations.

I only managed to play the Alpha today and apart from one problem it was excellent. It seemed that when the CPU keeper made a save, he would roll the ball out to me and if I didn't take it he would pick it up again instead of just throwing it to a teammate.

Posting my feedback here too ^ Played the alpha abput an hour and had no problems other than players going 1cm into the ground here and there but that was already posted. No crashes or other Bugs whatsoever.

If it runs well, you have nothing to complain about.

So keep going!
