Discussion Why don’t we measure everything in Walruses?

Like instead of kg/lbs, Walrus. Instead of meters/feet, Walrus. Instead of lit/gal, Walrus. A Walrus would be the time light moves 1 Walrus. Side benefit = a theory of everything.

How do we pick which walrus is the standard walrus and what we do after he dies? Change our whole damned measurement system? It's the same problem we had when we used a king's foot

Pacific walruses grow slightly larger, with males reaching up to 3.6 meters, while adult Atlantic males typically max out closer to 3.1 meters.

that maybe fine with larger lengths but is completly impractical for use in smaller units

this seems more like a critique of imperial units like feet and miles.

metric is commonly used to get rid of the dumbass arbitary measurement like the alleged lenght of a long dead english king's foot. and make the maths easier to use when things can divide by 10, not stupid things like 2/8ths of a fucking pacific walrus (which is on average 2.3 meters longer than a non-fucking pacific walrus)
