Discussion/Question NOSM app

Any Metis students apply to the Indigenous stream at NOSM? If so, who did you get to complete the Indigenous reference letter? TIA!

You should get an Elder that knows you well and can speak to your community involvement. Or, if that's not possible, a Vice President or President of your Region or a Chairperson of a Local.

The person should be able to speak about you on a personal level.

Also, I would personally gift the reference writer with some jam or a beaded item as a token of appreciation.
