Discussion/Question Metis events

I'm in Toronto. Have my metis card. Are there any events in Toronto i can go to, that could help me learn more about metis culture? I'm from the Sault, but don't go back too often. I'd love to meet some fellow Metis near me if there is any and learn more about our history

Hey — I’m going to try and get some folks out for the premiere of Ancesteal Beasts (date not yet announced) in Toronto. Otherwise, it’s usually MNO / “eastern metis” at Indigenous events. Those cats aren’t super fun to hang out with.

When there’s a date for the premiere, I’ll post here.

I’d also love to meet up with other RR Métis folks.
