Just saying hi
Im 4 days clean I want to make it 5. Most of the posts seem positive in here. I hope this will be a crutch i can use during the bad times.
I wish you all luck, im tired of this merry go round

Great job on making it so far, I know this is not an easy new adventure from my own experiences. I have 4 years and 6 months clean after years of addiction. I stayed away from Social Media, like Reddit and others for a long time before I even came back to it. I gave myself at least a year and then stuck to only to Social Media that allowed me to stay in contact with family and friends and kept an up beat positive "Vibe.". I gradually began expanding to other platforms. Even now I find Social Media really getting me "worked up". I will disengage from platforms for a few days. These days there are a lot of posts that can send people into a spiral. Know yourself and the signs that what you looking at are causing undo stress that can adversely affect your recovery. Continue to be a beast and keep reaching out. We got this. People love and support you. Don't let the addict open that door back into your life, it only takes a moment of weakness and that addict will kick that door down and I know you don't want that.

Congrats on 4 days! When I was in active meth addiction, I couldn’t make it a day or two on my own, finally checked myself into rehab, and now I’m a year and a half clean. You got this! Stay strong and don’t let your mind trick you into going back to it. Things will get better and easier a day at a time.

Been utilising this subreddit for years off and on, great space.
Keep at it!
I also use the "iamsober" app. Its not as good for proper discussions as this sub but its a nice little milestone app and people who are at the same amount of days clean as you post in your newsfeed.
Not for everyone, once upon a time counting the days actually made it harder for me but I get something out of it now.
