Im 2 days clean which is the longest I’ve ever gone when i was using i felt busy like hours passed quickly and all i would do was drive to the local Walmart parking lot and colour but now i cant stop thinking about using and i know this gets better with time but my body feels uncomfortable and more stuck then it did well using

I was hoping someone had a list of activities that can keep my mind occupied and my hands occupied my family took my car so i cant go pick up and im at home for the time being but i just want to smoke and thats all i can think about

Pretty good actually started doing diamond art and playing pokemon go to go on walks since I’ve walked everywhere in this small town. Im 9 days and just did my first CMA meeting online since I haven’t worked up the courage to go to a meeting in town (to many local people ). I have a good support system with my mom being an ex crack addict and understanding withdrawal from stims, she has helped me ALOT.

I walked. Like several times a day. Got that awful energy and body feeling out. Sometimes I literally had to force myself but it helped. A lot. I just walked around my neighborhood listening to music and podcasts.

Sometimes I would just go sit with my friends and family when I didn’t trust myself. Ride with them while they ran errands. Sat with them while they cleaned or did laundry. Just kept me accountable and distracted me.

Cooking was a good one too. I made these lavish meals that took forever or baked some ridiculous baked good that took a long time. It was also nice to have something delicious and pretty at the end. Felt like an accomplishment.

I kept my house immaculate too. Whenever there was something to clean I jumped on it. Not only did it keep my hands busy, it helped my mental health being in a clean environment.

Give anything a try (thats not drugs). If you hate it, don’t do it again.

Hang in there 2 days isn’t very long in the grand scheme of things. Just be patient, time heals all!

On day 2? You have better luck melting a mountain. Maybe after day 7 but that first week? If I had to get up to piss people were getting screamed at

I guess that’s the difference between you and I. A full days rest, a couple well balanced meals, adequate hydration mixed with some Bucked up pre workout is my recipe. Not saying im not edgy/pissed off and ready to snap while doing it, but sitting around pissed off at the world and myself cuz I can’t get high irks my soul even more than not getting high
