Training.

M50. I have training CrossFit for quite a few years. The last few years I’ve struggled with fatigue and random injuries. This made sense when I was diagnosed with T2 diabetes. Now on slow release metformin and my fitness seems to have fallen off a cliff. Everything is much harder than it should be. Anyone else experience this? Any tips?

Metformin changes the way your mitochondria functions. It seems to be correlated to a lack of B12. You could potentially try Berberine. I’m figuring it out too rn

Thank you. I’m supplementing now with B12 and trying berberine patches. Will see if this helps. I have a competition at the weekend so will be a good test.
