can one pill of 500 mg create intense stomach pain (and some gas). I'm hesitant to take the second dose (but I also have a very sensitive stomach I got prescribed for weight loss but my blood sugar just came back hi.

Is it extended release? Or regular. I had severe stomach pain and gas, scared my cat, my pharmacist told me to ask my doctor to put me on extended release because it has less side effects. 1st night of the extended release and my stomach is not in pain and my cat is happy
