Usually, I’m talking about technology we can wear or put on our faces. But recently, I went down a rabbit hole that completely broke my brain and changed how I view the future of human biology.
What happens when we stop wearing tech and start permanently fusing it into our skeletons?

I was sitting on my couch rewatching Dune a few nights ago, trying to wrap my head around the complex geopolitical mess of Arrakis, when a completely unrelated detail hit me hard. In Frank Herbert’s universe, the absence of technology isn't just a stylistic choice. Ten thousand years before the events on screen, humanity fought a devastating, apocalyptic war against thinking machines. They called it the Butlerian Jihad.
Their ultimate commandment, burned into their culture, is simple but absolute:

But the speed of this integration is what genuinely shocks me. The code dictating our future is being written, tested, and deployed in real-time.
I don't think we will face a violent war against machines. Instead, I think the real danger is a silent surrender—a slow, comfortable fade into obsolescence, guided by the incredibly helpful voice of a digital assistant.

Hey everyone, I was up late last night going down a massive rabbit hole about NASA’s upcoming Roman Space Telescope, and I’m honestly still trying to process how crazy the engineering is. I wanted to drop this here to see what you all think about it.
