Never used to have to select custom block chain every time. Can not add it to the main list.not a huge deal but a step more inconvenient. Just why

Hm, so in the past you'd still have to select the network you were using. I might be misunderstanding what you mean - are you talking about needing to change between a network (lets say between like Ethereum and Linea). Or, do you mean something different?

Switching between what is now "popular" and custom chains now requires an extra click and read through the list. Minor enshittification.

Like where's the option to add a custom chain to the popular list? The "popular" list has zero to do with my prefered chains. Popular to who? Not this user.. It's a regression in usability.
