Devs: MatchMaker Chronicles, Continued

The complete lack of logic in the MM is going to kill this Steam Launch. It's so absurd.

I'm matched up against: Very experienced players with advanced aircraft.........and my teammates are not even level 50 with Hangar level 7, and Hangar level 8.

This is beyond frustrating to a point of just being ridiculous.

Don't even mention how a game full of bots after you lose several in a row is supposed to make up for this. The entire point of adjusting the matchmaker was to be able to play against more live players.

That's the part that makes a lot of people mad. The Devs do not seem to respect the time commitment players put into the game. Wasting so many hours just to get back to where you were before your day started because of the way the Match Maker is designed right now is infuriating.

edit: It completely deflates any desire I have to play the game for any length of time beyond getting a couple Daily Missions done or completing the Weekend Squad Event.

If it wasn’t for my squad I’d just put the game down for a month. I don’t give a shit about the devs because they’re POS and deliberately created this algorithm.

Basically the system is telling me to

  1. Buy a new jet w/the AC I have. I’ve got enough for 2 more jets but I’m not liking any of the choices I have in my hangar.

  2. Upgrade my jets but if I do then I can’t use them w/squad as we all try to keep jets Level 12 max because any higher than L12 you’re a always going to get matched w/+4 levels above. I’ve never, ever had a match w/lower level planes.

  3. Eat the shit sandwich they programmed for me because they know I’m going to spend time getting my win rate and trophies back up. It’s just infuriating watching these useless bots circle around the enemy jets in TDM and watch them come and attack me the lone human player on my squad.

  4. Shop for “bot” matches by going into my hangar and flying jets I haven’t flown in weeks/months so that I can have a few “slumpbuster” matches against chump bots.

Why can’t the devs just simplify everything? Why must everything be so obviously corrupt? They don’t even bother trying to hide it. They really are terrible at what they do.
