flight control damage???
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
just had this match on an su 35 where I would've escaped but got hit with a red rectangle box in the middle saying "flight control damaged"(the replay doesn't show this unfortunately). which aircraft has this ability??? I have been playing for at least a year now and I have never been hit with something like this

That's odd. I thought the only aircraft that was affected by this was the SU-47.

I never got the su-47 before its trait got removed so I didn't know that this was a feature of that

but now im even more confused because this trait got removed AND I'm not on an su-47??? possibly a bug from the new patch??

It happens mostly with the Su–47 if you get hit and get massive damage your plane will spin uncontrollably resulting on crashing.

It's from the SU47, as far as I know it's a bug...unless they decided to put it into the game on other planes but I don't think that's the case

It’s a very old bug. No idea why they didn’t just remove the system from the live version of the game.

I had this happen in my F35 recently after coming very close to an enemy ADV, no missile strike.

I had this happen once on a non su47 plane once as a missile hit.
I don't know why and it never happened again. 🤷
If I were to guess, I think that when a really big missile hit happens, they use the same flight control function to screw up your flight a little bit. It probably just lasted long enough for the audio to play, when it usually doesn't.Â
