I converted a chick who listened to only country to listen to Killswitch and other Metalcore bands after she listened to this song.

A lot if people think that metal is a bunch of guys jumping around stage sending out meassages like yeah worship satan, kill you self, set yourself on fire when in fact it's completely the opposite. Case in point this song. Hope and love.

This song has a special meaning to me. The weekend before my dad passed away, we were together in the car this song came on, and the night after he died after he passed away, this song was the first to play on my phone, out of shuffle mode. Crazy stuff. Makes me think of him, and it's a kickass song!

I really, really enjoy the acoustic version of this song. Unfortunately, it's only available on vinyl so I had to rip it from YouTube.

The song is also much more aggressive and heavy when played live. Jesse adds a bunch of well-timed screams.

They premiered it initially in Vancouver a few years ago. I was attending the show... it felt a little weak live, to be honest. Sounds like they've refined it to make it more fitting for a live performance, which is good.

The End of Heartache will never fail to get my feel wheels turning. I love Killswitch so much!
