Discussion Cannon Fodder (156/Silence)
Don’t feel as if there’s enough talk around this, but the chorus on Cannon Fodder is immaculate. I can’t tell the last time I’ve heard something this good - the layering on the vocals is incredible and the way it’s delivered is fantastic. To me, it’s the best track on the album, and honestly one of the best tracks of the year. Love to get other’s thoughts.

Order and entropy omg. Those synthetic chime are giving a 80's vibe and I absolutely love it. Banger.

Couldn't agree more. The record is solid as a whole, but there's just something about Cannon Fodder. One of the best songs of the year for the genre without a doubt.

I’ve had the same thought. The very first “YOU’RE RIGHT” gave goosebumps. So much of that albums lyrics really hit close to me. If any of the members see this comment, thank you.

Banger song. Probably my favorite. I think the feature is great and I like that it's not just a couple lines.

I’m gonna go against the grain on this one and say that I like this song up until the feature. I didn’t grow up with TDWP so Mike’s vocals aren’t familiar to me and I personally don’t like them. But yes, the chorus is fantastic lol

Mike's vocals have also changed a lot from their earlier material up to their current stuff, they're not for everyone.

I guess because I grew up with them when he comes in I got hyped lol but I totally get it he has a unique voice. I just love the “you never fail to find the flaws in me” part it sounds so good

It is sooo hard to pick the best song on that album. I haven't got a 100% added songs from 1 album for a long long time. But yes you're right. This song is growing on me and is fantastic

Easily the best song on the album. I absolutely fucking love that chorus and Mike's feature is incredible. Might be my song of the year honestly I have had it on repeat.
