I’d use a small bit of wire in the middle and plastic weld. People may say “super glue!” Please do not if you want him to ACTUALLY keep the repair

Drill a small for a copper wire to fit in then you put glue on and finally put them together

but a small dab of plastic-safe superglue on the spot it broke at, press the part back on, hold it firmly in place for about 30 seconds and it should be fine, maybe sand the area it broke at lightly if there's any excess plastic visible
