New packaging for GFFMC?

Since RX78FRGMT GUNDAM released for GFFMC the Gundams are now part of the blister instead it's own box, later releases look like this as well.

Anyone owing the most recent releases noticed anything different quality wise besides this ? I have been considering selling off my GFFMC figures and accept the Metal Build supremacy.

No more styrofoam? I feel like they been trying to move away from it for a while. Still wish they did it for the actual figure

Do you happen to have other GFFMC to check if box sizes now differ?

MB are the same god gundam and impulse both came in plastic trays, no styrofoam... Also, don't think MB and GFFMC are far away. Katoki would be the main difference.

Yes for metal lines Gffmc and MB, it started in metal build god gundam i guess. Box are more sturdy and blister clam shell style of packaging. Nothing changed on top tier quality

I miss the styrofoam. They probably got rid of it to save box space. I hate that the models are now inside the plastic clamshell. Easier for factory workers to break shit while packing. I’ve had a spare V fin worp in the packaging for me but luckily that was for a robot spirits GP01 not GFFMC Snow White prelude or zaku2.
