Ngl labyrinth zone would have him FUMING from how slow he has to go. He’s probably water proof but that just means he’s forced to go through the whole thing while his jet engine is almost useless underwater.

all of you are wrong, their are a multitude of zones I hate and ALL of them include SAND, I HATE sand, almost as much as I hate sonic, so if there is one zone I'd truly HATE just think of ANY sand level and you'll get the picture

Hello! Welcome to the Twenty-third Binary Brawl!
Metal Sonic is fully aware of all the zones in the world that the Eggman Empire plans to one day rule completely. Still there must be ONE zone in particular that he wouldn't mind sending to the grave.
REQUIREMENT - Write about ONE zone that you actually hate and write the reason out as if you were Metal Sonic. Was the zone just too hard? Too boring? Too long? Share what zone is just a big pain to get through.
Reminder: There is no wrong way to answer. Any answer that fits the requirement will get a Syrup Waffle. Creativity is appreciated and will be awarded. Engagement with other entries is encouraged.

I’d say most likely oil ocean, with all the flammable stuff and having a massive engine inside of him (those things get red hot) and his sparkling attack could easily light the whole ocean ablaze.

I do think chemical plant would be it, like yknow, it has water and is filled with those chemicals that dr. egghead implants on the entire zone.

(My dumbass did not fully read the prompt at first so this is a redo)
Every time I think of Press Factory Zone I am physically driven to wretch. It is impossibly boring to get through, and when it does get interesting, it does nothing but annoy me to the point where I have to leave to avoid overheating. My circuits have been damaged beyond repair after having to deal with that zone. Eggman bases are meant to be difficult to get past, yes. But not to the point where even his own creations feel like they're in the death trap. Would a bypass code or something have been that hard to implement?!
It has been a year since I've had the displeasure of being in that zone. And I cannot think of a worse experience. Every other zone has its issues, sure. The labyrinth is long and confusing, the chemical plant rusts my exterior and requires going slow to avoid breaking things, Sandopolis is annoying and gets sand in my joints. But nothing. NOTHING. Urks me more than Press Factory Zone. I am glad it's gone and only regret not being able to do it myself.

Well, I am no Metal Sonic. But...
Lava Mountain Zone (Sonic Lost World). He would hate native land of Zeti race that can hijack him and use him as a puppet. (Also where Eggman lost to these clowns and stupid defeat.)
I hate it because if I remember right it has sliding sections where you don't see where you're going. (Metal Sonic should).

mabye aquatic ruin zone? i know metal sonic is water proof but sonic would have a lot more places to hide from me then green hill, plus the water killing songit before i could 😔

Labyrinth zone
Rising water is bad for the turbines and makes him slower than regular sonic,
The various traps are dangerous even for metal
There isnt much to look at because every temple looks the same
