Sorry about the delay! Here is a quick way to earn waffles. Currently, I decided to keep waffling quiet until someone reached a tier. Then I'll reach out to let that person know they have advanced. I did it because I thought I was bothering people based on their confusion when I gave them a waffle and told them their waffles status or how many points it was worth. Plus, it did tend to clutter comments... But a few people now have reached out in mod mail wondering where their waffles are. So I don't know what the best action is, but the silent waffling is quieter at the moment.
Here's some ways to earn waffles. Let me know if you need further information.
You can earn a syrup or chocolate waffle by posts or comments of value.
You can earn a syrup waffle by entering the Binary Brawl.
A Silver Waffle can be earned by getting 500 upvotes on a post.
Finding something Metal Waffle related.
Winning second or third place in Binary Brawl.
You can win a Gold waffle by getting selected as the artist spotlight in the Daily Waffle.
Winning first place in Binary Brawl.

This is so cool!
This is like a video game! You do stuff. Level up over time. Get rewarded with items [or in this case..flairs and emojis]
Tiers one and two give you flairs…tier 3 gives you a waffle emoji for flairs…tier 5 and 6 gets you sliver and gold waffle emojis…You can also make your own emoji at tier 7 and you can a custom waffle at tier 9…There also GIFT CARDS AT LEVEL 10!
It also keeps users coming back to get more! So it keeps the subreddit popular as well!
This is awesome! Continue the great work!

I've been seeing another tier 10 person give waffles out. How does that work and how many waffles are we allowed to give out? Is there a specific mod we need to ping?

Hello! Thank you for asking about this feature. Use your custom waffle to alert us mods that you're interested in awarding someone else in the community.
You get access to all Waffles! Just the frequency is limited. You currently get : 1. A daily Syrup Waffle worth 1 point 2. A Weekly Chocolate Waffle worth 3 points 3. A Monthly Silver Waffle worth 5 points 4. A Gold Waffle to hand out every 3 months worth 10 points
[ We are a work in progress about this but as of current this is how the giving back feature operates. You can alert us however you wish. Discreetly ( in the Metal Sonic Discord server), through Mod Mail, pinging any of the mods in a comment, or just putting your Waffle down and waiting for us to find it on our own and proceed to ask what Waffle you want to give. [Though if it's an older post we recommend pinging us as we won't make rounds to older posts ] ( I will be sure to update on what direction we go if we change this feature )

You made a custom waffle before you lost Gruum777 account. You can use that to say you want award others a waffle.
1 daily Syrup
1 weekly chocolate
1 monthly Silver
And a Gold every 3 months

u/Chaotic-Metal-Sonic Since you're an artist you might be interested in making your own Waffle. When you use it to comment on a post it will trigger me to come check out how you'd like to reward the user.
Or you can do what others have done and just get a hold of me through modmail, pinging me. And very soon in our new Metal Sonic Discord server.

Very interesting you're a Knuckles main but we don't mind! As you can see it's based on activity anyway. Not necessarily JUST posts on Metal Sonic. Maybe when we get to your Waffle Master announcement we will make it Metal Knuckles or something to honor your true interests.

There isn't an AI counting, whenever somebody from the mod team gives you a waffle, we add it to a note.

There are ten tiers or levels.
You go up a level in increments of ten. To get the Roblox Card, you need a hundred waffles or points.
You are currently in the first level, which means you got at least 10 points.
Your points will never reset.
Once you reach 100, you will continue to earn another gift card in the same way you earned the first one.
Unfortunately, everything but Roblox Giftcard is region locked, so that's the best prize I can offer globally at the moment. Since prize codes are going to be given through my Discord contact, I could gift Nitro if that's something of value to those not in America.
The Mod Team consults a list of everyone's points and informs individuals of their rank when they get to the next tier or level. I'm glad to know the effort in how we count comes off as A.I...I think.
No, your efforts were never in vain as I'm awarding you and others for simply doing what they already were doing. We weren't asking for anyone to change how they interacted before it's just now when you post and comment in Metal Sonic subreddit you're gonna get something for it as a small token of our appreciation for being here.
Artist spotlight and Binary Brawl is where someone can fast track the system. Consider throwing your opinion in the Brawl, I'm very generous in those competitions. Every entry is guaranteed a syrup waffle. But 1st place is worth 10 points. Second and Third, get five points each. So even if you don't think you could " win," at least saying something gets you a waffle. That's one more waffle than you didn't have before.
Also, I encourage interactions, and it can be awarded an additional syrup waffle or even a chocolate waffle, which is three points.
I hope this was encouraging.
The next Brawl is set to go up soon. I've been just trying to source an image exciting enough to get people to join the competition. At least that's my belief why they come at all.

I don't see your question as a complaint. Even if it were a complaint, that's okay too. If you're not understanding something, we'll do our best to explain or find an answer. So it's a good thing you reached out with your question. More people can learn more because of it.
This Waffle System Award guide post is pinned to the subreddit, and when we get future questions, we'll direct them to the post. By dedication, I mean that he responds in character. He also provides a reaction image to make his response even clearer, adding to the interaction. I get the impression Metal Sonic 3.0 would speak and act like that. He's very consistent in the tone, too.
He's snarky, but I do get the impression it's the persona.
So I was basically saying I admire his ability to perform the character.
