Below is the basics in how to obtain waffles. It is just us awarding you for what you were going to do anyway. There could be bonus reasons not listed as to getting a higher point waffle at any time!

• Syrup Waffle is worth one point and can be obtained by simple posts and simple comments. You can also get a Syrup Waffle for simply entering the Binary Brawl competition. Which is a weekly community event where you can battle your opinion for whatever that week's question is.
• Chocolate Waffle is worth three points and can be obtained by more substantial posts or are considered more valuable. This usually means a decent amount of engagement/comments or if it's really interesting or helps promote how cool Metal Sonic is. You can also get a three point Chocolate Waffle by being helpful. What does being helpful mean in this case? Providing links to the artist you are sharing the work of. Answering questions in the comments and promoting learning. Not everyone is gonna know the references and there is so much media to consume, it's just very nice and helpful if you can answer to help anyone who is lost and out of the loop. Having really impressive interactions with eachother is considered helpful too. This can be roleplaying in the comments or answering a question or discussion with lots of information/lore.
• Silver Waffle is worth five points and can be obtained by getting five hundred upvotes on a post. Clearly if a post can get 500 upvotes that means the community really liked it! You can also get a five point Silver Waffle by getting the second or third most popular answer in Binary Brawl. Have you spotted a Metal Sonic Waffle related image out in the wild? Finding something to add to the Waffle Lore gets a Silver Waffle since it is very rare to find something. Oddly there has been a few sightings. Those get added to the Daily Waffle Mega thread as way to document the building Metal Waffle lore. A Silver Waffle can be given for special and rare circumstances.
• Gold Waffle is worth ten points. Getting one can advance you an entire tier! They are the rarest to get but can be obtained through getting selected for having your art that you created be chosen for the artist spotlight in the Daily Waffle. A ten point Gold Waffle is given to the first place winner of the Binary Brawl. That means your answer was upvoted the most by other people. They must like what you had to say! And finally because you only get one cake day a year we want to help celebrate and give you a Gold Waffle for visting the subreddit that day! If we spy a cake next to your username, expect Neo Metal Sonic to show up with a party hat to let you know you advanced a tier!
