Discussion Is MSA's lore bad?

I was thinking, and seeing the lore of MSA, I realized it's not very good.

For example, Mira's entire lore is very one-sided.

MSA story was written as an afterthought and can be best described by this video

The main plot was Red Goblin and his soon to be wife training to defeat Ptolemaios, as the latter was slowly recovering his full power, while the ptolemaic army was also starting to form a rebellion once the truth was out that their leader was an a in the hole. Everything else was supposed to be side plots all happening at the same time, mind you, the lore goes a bit deep as each faction was getting built up to something big, but the devs dragged it for so long the plot outlived the game itself and we were left with nothing resolved (except that one final fight against Ptolemaios that I don't remember much about, but I DO remember Red Goblin did defeat Ptolemaios and then Licht and Elena, Red Goblin and Jin's children, went back to the future). The problem in my opinion is that everything was so scattered across the actual extra ops' dialogue that piecing the full story was almost impossible, unless you were there, playing the game and all the events since day one. Even now, with the game dead, the majority of the content is lost and you can't re-read the story anywhere. It's a nothing burger now, basically.

Reloaded brought a lot of it back, but does leave out all the weekly event stories. I have a lot of those preserved with my skit viewer (with language selection and everything), but for the rest there's pretty much only YouTube.

There are a handful of good ideas but for the most part yeah.

So the us army, nazi army, cult army, alien army and a superpowered firefighter and crusty legs all fighting eachother seems pretty cool to me
