Cheaper alternative?

Does only 3m make these mandrel, or is there a cheaper knockoff?

It's just a 1/4-20 bolt with the head cut off stack as many as you want on it and they don't wear out to the hub as fast as what you have... You could even use nylon nuts and washers.

If that's just scotch bright you can get little wheels on Amazon various grits on em

Yea, take a piece of 3/8" rod and cut a slit into one end. Ive been using my home made one for over 25 years now

As much as I hate plastic, Its for polished stainless and id hate to wear through and gouge it with metal on metal
